Serious question – do you know anybody over the age of 25 that likes Miley Cyrus?
If they don’t, perhaps they’d be interested in moving to China, after the country decided to ban Miley Cyrus from ever crossing their borders.
The ban stems from a photo that Cyrus took part in a while back, which the Chinese government (also known as the People’s Republic of China) deemed to be inappropriate and racist.
As for the picture in question? It featured Miley Cyrus, back in her ‘Hannah Montana’ days, doing a ‘slanted eye’ motion in a picture taken with her friends.
In a statement, Chinese foreign minister Yang Jiechi said: “Miss Cyrus has made it clear she is no friend of China or anyone of East Asian descent. We have no interest in further polluting our children’s minds with her American ignorance.”
This isn’t the only ban invoked on Miley either, as the Dominican Republic has also banned the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer as they believe she “undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law”, according to the Associated Press.
Donald Trump would be so proud.
