A rough night for reality star Chumlee as one of the faces of History’s ‘Pawn Stars’ was arrested. It all started when a warrant was put out for the pawn shop employee by Las Vegas Metro Police for an alleged sexual assault which lead to Chumlee arrested.
According to TMZ, police showed up at Chum’s home with a search warrant which is where they found meth and marijuana:
Las Vegas Metro PD says officers showed up at his home Wednesday afternoon with a search warrant in connection with a sexual assault case. We’re told Chumlee is the suspect in that case.
Our law enforcement sources tell us cops found marijuana, meth and at least one weapon during the search.
Chumlee was taken into custody and booked for drug and weapon possession. We’re told the sexual assault is still under investigation.
While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Chumlee arrested, they’re obviously the most serious charges he’s faced since he became the lovable ‘Pawn Stars’ character. He is currently facing at least 19 gun charges.
At least five unmarked police cars arrived at Chum’s home for the search warrant, so it seems they are building quite a strong case against the reality television personality.
He has been given a $62,000 dollar bail and it’s likely he’s already out of the Clark County Detention Center.
