Playboy Model Katie May Died Due To Photoshoot Injury

Tragic news hit the wire last evening as it was announced Playboy model Katie May died after she was removed from life support.

May was admitted to the hospital after suffering a stroke this past Monday, which was believed to be caused by a fall during a photoshoot.

Katie May mentioned the injury on her Twitter page before eventual seeking medical attention.

Now according to TMZ, it was a fall during said photoshoot which resulted in the tragic injury.

Playboy and Instagram sensation Katie May took a nasty fall during a photo shoot last week, injuring her neck, and that is the leading candidate for what caused her fatal stroke … TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge of Katie’s situation tell us the accident happened late last week when she was shooting in Los Angeles. We’re told Katie’s neck pain after the fall was so bad, she went to a hospital to get checked out, and was released later that day.

Our sources say the operating theory is the 34-year-old model did not pinch a nerve, but instead tore the carotid artery in her neck.

The family of Katie May has set up a GoFundMe account where fans can donate to the well being of her daughter.

There has been nearly $13,000 dollars worth of donations in less than 24-hours.
