The Mountain From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Is Officially Europe’s Strongest Man

Mountain Game Of Thrones

I’m not somebody who is easily scared, though, there are two things that would make me scream like a five-year-old girl who just lost her favorite Barbie.

Getting into a ring with Ronda Rousey, would be one.

The second would be anywhere within a five mile vicinity of The Mountain from ‘Game of Thrones’.

Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson, who famously took batting practice with the Philadelphia Phillies last year and nearly tore his smedium jersey, has been working his way to become the strongest man in Europe over the past few years.

Now he can officially claim such a title because The Mountain from GoT is officially Europe’s strongest man after a record breaking showing at Europe’s Strongest Man competition.

Including lifting things that look like they weigh more than a house foundation, The Mountain also unleashed an impressive 991 pounds on the deadlift, a personal best for the actor.

Needless to say, his nickname fits quite well.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
