Man Claims To Have Proof Sommer Ray Kidnapping Was Fake

This past weekend, Instagram model and YouTube sensation Sommer Ray claimed she (and her friend) were nearly kidnapped after a modeling trip to Mexico went extremely wrong.

It all started after Ray’s manager took to her Twitter and Instagram profiles, asking the public for assistance in finding her.

About 15-hours later, a crying video of Ray appeared on her Snapchat with a more in-depth video to follow on her YouTube a few hours after.

Understandably, most sympathized for the 20-something, though a few suggested she faked the videos for more fans.

Some even claim to have proof.

Personally, I find it difficult to believe somebody with upwards of 11 million followers needs to fake a publicity stunt like this to gain more. But hey, it is the internet.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
