So let’s get to know Jasmin Shojai a bit more in her Guy Hut Interview:
Tell us some of your current guilty pleasures in music, TV, movies, video games and/or books. What are you watching/reading/playing/listening to at the moment?
I am listening to alot of Deep house and techno. I like a lot of the remix versions of ‘Can’t better than this’ by Parachute Youth. My favourite deep house songs are I Wanna Feel by Second City, Need U (100%) by Duke Dumont and House Every Weekend by David Zowie.
At the moment I haven’t had time to watch any Tv. When I do though I like to go on Netflix or Hayu to watch KUWTK, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Game of Thrones, and Vikings.
What song in your playlist is the most embarrassing to admit?
Do ya think I am sexy by N-Trance. It’s pretty embarrassing to be honest haha. I have to say though it is a good song to listen to while I am jogging or working out in the gym.
Do you have any favorite sports teams and/or players?
When I used to follow the Fifa World Cup, I always went for Germany. Here in Australia, in the NRL (National Rugby League) my favorite team is the Manly/Warringah Sea Eagles
If you were a cartoon character, who would you be and why?
Thats a really good question. I honestly have no idea. However I often get compared to Jasmine from Aladdin, some people say I look like that Disney character
I have always loved Disney’s Aladdin film. So I would definitely say I would be her if I was a cartoon character.
If you could invite any three people, dead or alive, to dinner, who would they be?
Michael Jackson, Leonardo DeCaprio and Gigi Hadid
Name one place on your travel bucket list? Where do you want to go that you’ve yet to visit?
I definitely want to visit LA in the USA. Its been my number 1 location to visit as of late. I am planning to go there next year. I cannot wait, I am very excited for it.
Any special hidden talents?
I have a few. I am very good at doing my own hair and makeup when it comes to events/photoshoots
I also consider myself a bit of an athlete because I played alot of sports as I was growing up
I love basketball, soccer and running. I still consider them as some of my talents even though I am mainly modelling and doing catwalks these days.
A genie grants you three wishes – what are you asking for?
My first wish would be to get rid of cancer and diseases in this world. I think making a world a better place would help everyone
My second wish would be to help me become an international model. It is my biggest dream. Notice how I say help me achieve. I think if I just wished for it, it wouldn’t be the same without working hard and experiencing the journey getting to that stage. It is definitely more rewarding that way.
The 3rd wish would be to have my dream house and my dream car, which is an Audi r8 v10 plus.
What is the best and worst thing about modeling?
Modelling is my biggest passion, I love every moment of it. The whole journey for me has been an amazing experience. I have always learnt something new and that’s definitely helped me improve, and advance in my career
I guess the only negative thing is the catiness/competitiveness that happens in the industry
I suppose at the end of the day, you just need to not let that distract you and just do your very best when it comes to any modelling competition, or project.
What is your proudest accomplishment thus far in your career?
Winning the title of Australia’s Top Glamour Model of 2017
And I would definitely say my features in Maxim USA, Playboy Poland and FHM Taiwan were big accomplishments as well
I have also made it into the finals in 2 other model pageants this year. With one of them still coming up this year, I am really looking forward to the whole experience and catwalking on stage in front of an audience
What is your best physical attribute and what is your best personality attribute?
My best physical attribute would be my legs in my opinion. I would definitely say my best personality tribute would be my outgoing persona. I love talking to people and just having fun.
