When it comes to the Grammy Awards, Adele gives no fucks. Literally.
Long after she stopped her performance during the George Michael tribute and returned to the stage to give her producer proper speaking time after he was initially cut off, the pop singer broke her iconic award in half so she could share the honor of ‘Album of the Year’ with her idol Beyonce.
Many were upset about Adele bringing home the honor, mostly due to the cultural influence of Queen Bey’s ‘Lemonade’ including Adele herself.
So in addition to honoring Beyonce in her acceptance speech, she also broke her Grammy Award in two separate pieces.
