While many were asleep on the East Coast, the West Coast was hit with horrible news from the music industry.
Icon David Bowie died.
The first and initial report came from David Bowie’s official Facebook page:
January 10 2016 – David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.
No other sources have confirmed the David Bowie death, but considering the page as not hacked it appears the music industry has lost yet another legend.
Rest in peace, Ziggy Stardust.
