Chicago Bulls Think They Traded For Brook Lopez, Not Robin Lopez

Last week, the Chicago Bulls traded Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks. In exchange, a handful of bench players were sent their way, including Robin Lopez – who is probably most famous for beating up mascots from opposing teams.

That’s not to say Robin isn’t a serviceable player, but he’s certainly not on the same level as his twin brother, Brook Lopez of the Brooklyn Nets.

And that’s a problem, considering Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg thinks he just traded for Brook Lopez, not Robin Lopez.

It would have been funny enough if it was just a simple slip of the tongue, but to then go on and credit Brook Lopez’s game over and over – we can’t help but chuckle.
