Chicago Bulls star and former NBA MVP Derrick Rose is fighting back against his rape accuser, who says Rose and a collection of his friends brutally broke down her door and assaulted her.
According to reports, Derrick Rose says that the woman not only consented to the group sex, but enjoyed a normal morning in the hours after the encounter including a cup of coffee with a roommate.
Rose has now filed docs of his own in which he claims the accuser “consented to sexual interaction with more than one co-defendant on more than one occasion, consented to sexual interactions on the day in question, and invited the defendants to her apartment and buzzed them in.”
Rose says things were so cool the following day — the accuser casually had a cup of coffee with her roommate in the morning after the sex … and headed into work for a full shift. The implication is that a rape victim would have been way too distraught to have done any of that.
Derrick Rose seems to imply that the ‘beef’ the woman had was over the price of a toy that she was not reimbursed for, because, this situation couldn’t get any stranger – right?!
No matter how you slice it though, this, paired with Derrick Rose’s impending free agency is quite the distraction going into the Chicago Bulls season.
