Stop me if you’ve heard this before – Lamar Odom‘s friends are fearing for his life.
Just months after his near death experience, the former NBA star apparently can’t stop drinking and believes his continued abuse of alcohol isn’t a big deal. That’s the word from TMZ who reports Odom was spotted not only drinking at a bar but buying shots for everybody in attendance.
Sources close to LO say he believes he can “casually drink” without any consequences, which is why he hit up an Irish pub on Saturday night. As we reported … he downed 3 Remy Martins — the same liquor he was drinking in the Nevada brothel the weekend he nearly died.
We’re told Odom’s boozing is creating tension between him and Khloe Kardashian. Although she’s publicly vowed to help him recover, she disagrees with his choice to start drinking. We’re told Lamar got up on Sunday morning for church just to prove he could function after boozing.
Addiction isn’t just a one substance/item thing – if you’re addicted to one thing chances are you’re addicted to multiple things.
Hopefully Lamar Odom doesn’t fall off the wagon, but it seems like he’s already getting pretty close to the edge and he might want to back up a bit.
