That’s because Bron once told former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate, Drew Gooden, that he could survive a plane crash.
Tongue and cheek, of course.
Gooden was a guest on ESPN’s Highly Questionable where he was asked about his favorite story regarding King James.
That’s when he came up with this winner, recounting when the Akron native told him that he could survive a plane crash with the help of pillows and his athletic ability.
I’m not even sure you could survive a 30-foot fall if you were encased in pillows, let alone being torpedoed into the ground by a flying tank of gas.
Well, maybe if the plane you were in had a tail number of ‘3-1’ or something.
