If you’re a member of the Los Angeles Clippers and planned to wear one of LeBron James‘ signature shoes this season, you’re going to need to get some new sneakers.
That’s because Paul Pierce previously told his teammates they are not allowed to wear LeBron James shoes.
With many NBA teams holding media day this afternoon, Pierce’s former teammate with the Washington Wizards talked about what he learned from ‘The Truth’ and it didn’t have much to do with the on-court game.
Gortat on what he learned from Paul Pierce: “Not to wear LeBron James’s shoes to practice.” He mentioned some other things, too.

Paul Pierce and LeBron James have quite the rivalry, of course, though it’s a little funny that Pierce would extend such a rule to his teammates.
It’s probably all in good fun, but I guess Nike won’t need to ship any of James’ sneakers to Staples Center – at least not to the Clippers loading dock, this season.
