Much has been made about the religious beliefs of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who continually brings his faith onto the football field.
And it looks like some are getting slightly irritated with such, including Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who trolled Russell Wilson on Sunday night.
Just minutes after Rodgers’ Packers defeated Wilson’s Seahawks, the Green Bay signal caller had this to say:
“I don’t think God cares a whole lot about the outcome,” Rodgers said. “He cares about the people involved, but I don’t think he’s a big football fan.”
“And then getting help from God. I think God was a Packers fan tonight, so he was taking care of us.”
Oh my. Burn, baby burn, like disco inferno. Somebody get the aloe.
