There’s no denying that Tony Romo and Jason Witten have hooked up plenty of times on the football field, but off it the two Dallas Cowboys stars are only friends.
That’s pretty obvious to just about everybody, right? Apparently not, because somebody decided it would be funny to start a rumor suggesting Tony Romo and Jason Witten were sleeping together.
Soon after, the post went viral on Facebook with people seriously believing the post.
The fake story about Tony Romo boinking Jason Witten was shared literally thousands of times, likely destroying what little brain cells were left of the said football fans who were actually subjected to the ‘rumor’.
Yep – that’s right – nearly 10,000 shares thus far.
Most of the new comments on the post are actual football fans that know what’s going on (or in this case, not going on) though many of the first comments actually believed the story to be real.
Commence head shaking.
