Ah yes, the infamous closed captioning goof.
It happens every so often, which leads to a new marketing campaign.
Last year, Nik Stauskas of the Philadelphia 76ers (then with the Sacramento Kings) because known as ‘Sauce Castillo’ thanks to a closed captioning error and now it’s the turn of an even bigger star, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
The younger brother of Peyton Manning did his best to lead the Giants back against the Washington Redskins on Sunday afternoon, though fell short in the closing moments.
That might not have been the worst part of his day however as he earned a new nickname in the process – Penguin Boy.
