Remember about a week ago when Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones couldn’t stop gushing over backup quarterback Brandon Weeden, all but suggesting he had a prettier pass than Troy Aikman?
Yeah, apparently those feelings were quickly flushed down the toilet after Weeden struggled against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football.
Frankly, I’d blame the loss on the infamous New Orleans Saints underboob fan, but Jones apparently decided the defeat was more on the hands of Weeden:
Jerry Jones: It’s not quite apples and oranges when the guy on the other side is Brees and you’re dealing with a guy as limited as Weeden.

Keep in mind – this is the same guy who said just a few days ago that he couldn’t find a ‘more gifted passed’ than Brandon Weeden.
As far as Weeden, the quarterback wasn’t exactly awful against the Saints, though he was far from spectacular – though that’s not exactly the job of the backup quarterback.
Either way, Jerry Jones is always good for a laugh on Sunday evening/Monday morning with his knee jerkers.
