Every year, the good folks at EA Sports simulate the Super Bowl and predict the winner.
Sometimes they’re right, sometimes they’re wrong, so in short they’re really no more accurate than the monkey at your local zoo who picks a colored block with a team logo on it. That said, you still want to know the Madden Super Bowl 50 prediction, right?
Well, it starts off with Cam Newton‘s Carolina Panthers going ahead early – like many expect.
Eventually Carolina’s lead balloons to 17-0, before Peyton Manning threw a touchdown to Emmanuel Sanders. Two field goals later and the Panthers lead closed to just four points at 17-13.
Another touchdown from Peyton Manning, this time to Demariyus Thomas gave the Broncos a 20-17 lead with just minutes left in Super Bowl 50.
However, Cam Newton put on his cape and did the things expected of an NFL MVP, marching Carolina down the field.
Late in the fourth, with the game on the line, Newton called his own number and jumped over the defensive line for the game winning touchdown.
And just like that, the Carolina Panthers were Super Bowl 50 champions in the virtual world.
For what it’s worth, Madden has predicted 2 of the last 3 Super Bowl’s correctly, though, has whiffed on the score.
