It was an exciting few days of football which will conclude tonight with a Monday Night Football double header. And while we’re all excited to watch the Eagles and Falcons with the Vikings and 49ers hosting the nightcap, there was plenty of football action on Sunday to look back on.
Here are a handful of the best football plays from Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season.
Week 1 NFL highlights:
- A Washington Redskins fan wasn’t sure who the quarterback was, so he made an interchangeable NFL jersey.
- The St. Louis Rams thought they could tackle Marshawn Lynch. The Seattle Seahawks running back thought differently.
- Tyler Lockett scored his first NFL touchdown on a punt return for the Seahawks.
- Cleveland Browns quarerback Josh McCown gets his clock cleaned and helicopters into the end zone as he fumbles against the New York Jets.
- JOHNNY FOOTBALL. Johnny Manziel throws his first NFL touchdown.
- Speaking of the Cleveland Browns, did you know their new jersey looks a lot like the old school FUBU jersey?
- Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce probably had the best touchdown celebration of Week 1.
- No helmet, no problem. J.J. Watt still sacks Alex Smith despite the Houston Texans star losing his lid.
- Okay, so the Cleveland Browns probably had the best sack celebration.
- Richelle Ryan probably didn’t like the Dallas Cowboys any better after they beat her New York Giants.
