I’m not the brightest crayon in the box. Hell, I didn’t even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. But I’m going to assume you probably shouldn’t suggest a team uses the weather to cheat, just months after you blew the biggest lead in Super Bowl history to that same team.
But that’s exactly what Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones did after losing to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
The late October fog that often blankets parts of Foxboro in the evening hours made it’s way to Gillette Stadium on Sunday night which Jones and the Falcons were no fan of.
In fact, the wideout went as far as to suggest the Patriots cheated by enhancing the fog with fireworks.
Julio Jones just blamed fog on Patriots shooting off fireworks after TDs.
Didn’t use it as excuse but said, “how can you throw deep balls?”
