Popular Patriots Fan With Super Bowl Trophy Tattoo On Head Has Died

First Pat Summit, now this?

New England Patriots fan Victor ‘Helmet Head’ Thompson made waves a few years back after his mugshot appeared online, but this wasn’t your standard issue mug. No, Thompson had not only the Patriots logo tattooed on his head but also the Super Bowl trophy.

Needless to say, he was about as popular in Pats lure as Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft.

Alas, the man known as Helmet Head has died, this according to the Laconia Daily Sun:

Victor “Helmet Head” Thompson, 47, of Gilford Avenue died of a sudden illness on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Lakes Region General Hospital. Victor was born on Sept. 11, 1968, in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of Frederick and the late Gladys (Perkins) Thompson. Victor has lived in Laconia for more than 20 years. Victor loved the New England Patriots. He was a member of the Laconia Rod & Gun Club. Victor loved all his family and friends.

RIP Helmet Head.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
