Amazon May Stream NFL, NBA, MLB To Prime Members For Free

Amazon

Not an Amazon Prime member? You might want to change that philosophy in the near future, assuming the internet’s largest retailer gets their way.

That’s because the e-commerce giant has held talks with all the major sports leagues – NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL (along with the MLS) with hopes that they will be able to put together a sports package which will be free for Prime members.

The alleged sports package from Amazon will allow Prime members to stream the games for free.

As to how close this is to happening? Nobody knows. Also, it’s not known if the Amazon sports streaming will be on a game-by-game basis or if it will be a season package, like Sunday Ticket, Extra Innings or League Pass.

Regardless, it’s great news for sports fans.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
