Former WWE Wrestler Kurt Angle Says He Took 65 Vicodin A Day

The WWE, despite their absurd popularity, probably doesn’t need any additional black eyes. But they’re about to get one courtesy of former wrestling star Kurt Angle, who told ESPN’s Dan Le Batard that he was taking upwards of 65 Vicodin a day.

“I was on a lot and there was no way I couldn’t get out of it,” the 47-year-old former pro wrestler told the Dan Le Batard Show. “The only thing I could do was eventually go to rehab and try to fix my life again. But I actually beat it on my own. I stayed in my house for about 10 days and didn’t leave, and I was able to get through the withdrawal.”

I don’t even known how a body can handle 65 Vicodin pills a day. I don’t even know how it could handle 6, let alone ten times the amount.

More than that, they were the ‘extra strength’ version of Vicodin as well.

You can listen to the former WWE star talk about his drug addiction and much more below, which starts at the 23-minute mark:

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
