Grand Theft Auto DLC: Rockstar Will Not Create Single Player Content?

Grand Theft Auto V

Ever since Grand Theft Auto V hit the market, Rockstar has touted the idea of download content for single player missions.

They’ve certainly not fallen short on their promise of DLC for online play, but for those who prefer to enjoy GTA 5 by themselves, they’ve been left in the dark. But the video game company continued to stress patience as downloaded content for single player mode on Grand Theft Auto 5 was coming.

Well, now it’s not.

That’s not to say the idea is completely thrown under the bus, but it doesn’t sound very likely at this point.

“We currently have all key members of the team that launched Grand Theft Auto V focused on supporting GTA Online in every capacity,” says design director Imran Sarwar.

Most like to play GTA online anyway, so the lack of DLC for single player missions isn’t that big of a deal.

Still, there are a handful that enjoy the time offline and were hoping for single player downloaded content for Grand Theft Auto 5. For now though, it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening anytime in the near future.
