Want to get your hands on a new Playstation 5? Well, there appears to be some good and bad news on the horizon.
Although it feels as if the Playstation 4 was just released, the Playstation 5 release date is expected to be announced somewhat soon with anticipation suggesting the Playstation 5 release date will occur in 2017.
When in 2017 is still a mystery, though judging by the Playstation 4 debut I’d venture to guess the Playstation 5 release date will take place in the latter half of the year, likely around Thanksgiving as the strong demand for holiday gifts usually has Sony products selling through the roof.
The news of a Playstation 5 release date comes on the heels of Microsoft announcing a new Xbox system, which many are presuming will be named Xbox 2. In addition, there are also rumors of a new offering from Nintendo though that yet to be confirmed.
Clearly though, when it comes to popularity it’s all about the Xbox 2 and PS5 release date, so hopefully Sony comes out and announces the official PS5 release date in the near future as we’re all eagerly anticipating such.
A bit ironic considering so many of the promises with the current gen video game console have yet to be fulfilled. Hopefully Sony has learned from their issues.
