There isn’t much worse for a beauty queen than to have her crown stripped. Yet, that was only part of Caitlin Cifuentes’ worst day ever as the model also lost her job.
The 25-year-old was crowned Miss Corpus Christi Latina but lost her title (and job) after fellow pageant contestants snitched on her.
Miss Corpus Christi Latina crowned her in June, but the 25-year-old had her crown stripped away earlier this month after six other contestants claimed she had violated the competition’s rules.
The $100,000 suit, which eventually led to runner-up Victoria Barrera grabbing the title, drew attention to the fact that Cifuentes is currently on probation for an aggravated assault and driving while intoxicated in 2013.
A Corpus Christi judge reviewed the terms of her probation, which included a prohibition against drinking or going to a bar, according to KZTV.
“Judges orders, I am now jobless effective immediately!!!! I have worked at Murdocks for four-and-a-half years!” she posted on Facebook, according to the station.
If she needs some comfort, my pants arms are open.
