Los Angeles Fire Terrifying Commute Video Goes Viral

As has become somewhat of a standard weather pattern over the past few decades, much of Southern California has been ripped by wildfires that have torn through communities over the past few days.

Few videos of the Los Angeles fires have captured the horrific nature of the fires like the one recorded by Twitter user WLV Investor, who experienced the flames first hand during his commute on the 405 freeway.

In addition to fires in the Santa Barbara, Ventura and Sylmar areas, the fire above has resulted in significant damage to the area near UCLA.

Winds gusts of over 85 mph have been recorded in Malibu, which have been fanning the flames in the Santa Ana wind event.

In the five hours since the video was originally published on Twitter, it has been retweeted over 110,000 times.
