Remember the teacher who had a nine-hour threesome with some of her students? Yeah, well, she’s back in the news, this time claiming she was essentially blackmailed by one of the students who was passing around naked pictures of her.
Shelley Dufresne is now involved in a civil suit which alleges she harassed a teen boy on social media, but she claims it was more or less in self defense as the boy continued to not only smear her name on the internet, but posted illegal nude photos of the teacher.
The plaintiff “was not a young child of tender age incapable of understanding his specific actions,” Dufresne response says. His actions were “intentional, orchestrated and unprovoked.” Therefore, the student and his family should not get damages, Dufresne’s filing says.
…In her response, Dufresne denied everything except that she lived in the parish and taught the plaintiff English at Destrehan High.
Her response said the boy “remov(ed) his genitals from his clothing and plac(ed) himself upon a defendant” — it does not specify whether it was Dufresne or Respess — while the teacher was asleep or passed out. He recorded that on his cell phone and disseminated it to fellow members of the football team, the response said.
He also reacted in a threatening manner when Dufresne told him Sept. 18, 2014, that she was going to ask for him to be transferred to another class. Her account said the student told her she had “better not,” insinuating that he would retaliate.
After news of the relationship broke a few weeks later, the student sought “attention and notoriety,” calling himself “the king of SCP,” St. Charles Parish, the document says. As late as April 2015 he responded, presumably positively, to a person who created a social media post linking to an article about the case and saying the student deserved “a statue of you erected on hill at Rome,” Dufresne’s court filing said.
Well then.
Hope that nine hours was worth all that.
