Isaiah Thomas Literally Broke Tim Frazier’s Ankles

Isaiah Thomas

I’m all for a good crossover, but the whole ‘ankle breaking’ thing is a bit played out because it never actually happens. Sure, you might lose your balance, but that’s the worst of it. Or at least, so we thought until Isaiah Thomas literally broke Tim Frazier‘s ankles during the Celtics-Pelicans game last evening.

During the C’s 104-97 win, Thomas brought the ball up the court and Frazier did his best to guard him.

Things quickly went south for the Pelicans guard though, as Isaiah Thomas shuffled his feet and sent Frazier falling to the ground in pain.

Thankfully no bones were broken in the aftermath, but that was about as nasty as of an ankle breaker that we’ve seen all season.

Despite the lack of broken bones, Tim Frazier struggled to get up off the basketball court and was removed from the game as he could not continue.

The Pelicans hope he’ll be available for Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but he’ll need the swelling to go down before he gets clearance.

Man…that was just nasty.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
