It’s been a woeful start to the season for the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant, who was recently given a day off due to his struggles.
Many were hopeful the time to clear his mind would get the Black Mamba back on track.
It didn’t work as Bryant looked nothing short of awful against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, airballing multiple shots.
Needless to say, Kobe Bryant looked like a shell of his former self and told Lakers fans its time to panic.
I asked Kobe what I should tell the fans who are freaking out with the Lakers' losses – he said let them freak out its good for the soul

Here's the specific quote from Kobe to the fans freaking out – "Freak out. It's good. It's good for the soul."

Of course, Kobe Bryant’s comments were more tongue in cheek than anything and were more a reflection of the young Lakers struggles more than Bryant’s game specifically.
And while Los Angeles has a vast amount of youthful talent on their roster like D’Angelo Russell and Julius Randle, few expected the Lakers to be a playoff team this season so I’m not really sure why there is any panic in the first place.
If anything, we’re more sad watching Kobe Bryant act as if he’s forgotten how to play basketball.
