Just when you thought the Los Angeles Lakers situation couldn’t get any more comical, this happens.
Hours after their season finale loss to the Sacramento Kings, which was a blowout, a handful of Los Angeles Lakers players decided to celebrate the occasion by partying at a local club.
Yep, the Lakers, who just lost their 61st game of the season decided it would be a good idea to go out on the town.
That’s the word from TMZ who says at least two players – Jordan Clarkson and Vander Blue hit up Warwick nightclub in Hollywood after the plastering.
Question — How did the Lakers cope with losing their 61st game of the season last night? Completing their WORST SEASON in team history?!
Answer — THEY HIT THE CLUBS … well, at least two of ’em did.
I get that the guys have to live their life, but, the Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most proud franchises in all of sports, not just basketball. Could you imagine Kobe Bryant doing this? Tim Duncan? Michael Jordan? Hell, even LeBron James wouldn’t do that.
There’s technically nothing wrong with what they did, but it sure raises some eyebrows as to what their priorities are.
It’s really not a huge deal for Blue considering he may not be with the team next year, but Clarkson is a vital piece of the Lakers franchise moving forward so he’s likely to catch some additional flack.
