Life was apparently much easier for professional athletes before Twitter, as not only do college programs now go through the social media history of potential recruits, but so do NBA teams.
That includes the Los Angeles Lakers who are well aware that Larry Nance Jr called Kobe Bryant a ‘rapist’ back in the day.
Granted, we’ve all said things on social media before that we probably wish we didn’t and Larry Nance is no different, though, I think he’s going to have a difficult time explaining this one to the Black Mamba.
And he’s going to have to do so, at least, that’s the word from Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak who says the parties will talk about the old but now relevant tweet.
Mitch said the tweet Nance posted 2 yrs ago about Kobe is something “they will have to discuss.”

LAL GM Mitch Kupchak said he & team PR boss John Black addressed Nance’s Kobe tweet. Said Kobe & Nance will have to work it out themselves.

Man, meeting Kobe Bryant as an NBA rookie is difficult enough, but to have formerly called the NBA icon that choice word stemming from his incident in Denver about a decade ago? Yikes.
