While Steve Nash never helped the Los Angeles Lakers on the court much during his short stint in Hollywood, the two-time NBA MVP is planning to help them in retirement.
That’s because Steve Nash plans to train both D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson.
Nash has already worked with Clarkson before, who had a very impressive rookie campaign despite being a second-round selection, though has never worked with Russell. That is all set to change in the near future though.
Jordan Clarkson told me he is planning on future workouts with Steve Nash. He believes D’Angelo Russell will be included as well.

While Nash didn’t do a ton for the Lakers while a member of their roster, there’s a lot to learn from an eventual Hall of Fame point guard and it’s likely both D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson will soak it all up like a sponge.
How big of an impact the training from Steve Nash will make this season is unknown, but I’d venture to guess they’ll both come away with tips that they’ll carry with them for the rest of their professional basketball careers.
