The Boston Celtics have a roster full of young talent, but they’re looking to add some experience and stardom to the bunch this offseason.
That’s the word from GM Danny Ainge who says the Celtics will ‘swing for the fences’ come NBA free agency.
NBA rumors have already linked Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love as a potential addition in Beantown, though, that appears to be nothing more than speculation at this point. Regardless, it looks as if the Boston Celtics will try to throw around their cap space this offseason in effort to bring in a star player or two.
Ainge on his approach in free agency: “We’re going after all the top names on the list and we’ll see what happens” Stacked FA class.

So who other than Kevin Love will be available this offseason? There are a handful of names like Paul Millsap, Brook Lopez, Marc Gasol, Goran Dragic, LaMarcus Aldridge and more. Of course, many of those players have flirted with the idea of re-signing with their current basketball team, but until the ink is dry you never really know.
Either way, it appears as if the Boston Celtics are going to attempt a big splash or two in the coming months.
