What are two things men love? Basketball and video games. So why not combine the two? That’s exactly what one talented graphics artist did recently when he combined NBA team logos with iconic video game characters.
The end result? NBA logos as video game characters and it’s awesomeness.
Ak47_Studios is the man behind the creative renditions and he certainly deserves some praise for the work considering how well the logos came together.
Entitling the series “NationalBasketballArcade”, Ak47_Studios took popular video game characters like Sonic The Hedgehog, King Kong/Donkey Kong and the dog from Duck Hunt and morphed them into the logos of teams like Carmelo Anthony‘s New York Knicks, Derrick Rose‘s Chicago Bulls, Elfrid Payton‘s Orlando Magic and more.
Here is the Knicks version featuring Donkey Kong, who originally appeared in Mario Bros. before being granted his own video game through Nintendo.
