New York Knicks hotel travel aliases are rather amusing.
If you’re a professional athlete, celebrity or musician you have to use an alias when you check into a hotel. That’s common knowledge, though there are a few who use their own names oddly enough to throw fans and paparazzi off.
Of course when you’re an NBA team, that’s a little different considering many know what hotel the team always uses. Given that, aliases are a must as somebody decided to release the names used by the New York Knicks during the 2012-13 season and they’re pretty damn amusing.
From Jason Kidd and Tyson Chandler to Amar’e Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith, they’re all there. Some are rather boring but a few will likely draw a chuckle or two.
Clearly the winner here has to be Tyson Chandler right? I mean, Tommy Bunz? And what the hell, Raymond Felton? Ace Boogie? Get out of here with that nonsense.
Nucky Thompson sounds like a 1970’s mobster from Harlem while Amar’e Stoudemire predictably went with some silly 2pac reference in “Mr. Makaveli”.
Also, only J.R. Smith would use the name of a former NBA player though doing so is actually kind of funny.
