No, the Dallas Cowboys didn’t play in the Super Bowl, but you can’t stop the NFL’s biggest franchise from making headlines – even if they’re not the kind Jerry Jones wants to see.
Alas, that’s exactly what has taken place as running back Joseph Randle was arrested on Tuesday morning, this according to KAKE News in Wichita, Kansas.
According to KAKE, police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance between the Dallas Cowboys running back and his significant other, which lead to authorities finding marijuana in their hotel room.
Police said a 22-year-old woman reported she and Randle were arguing in a hotel room. Officers found marijuana in the room, and arrested Randle on a drug charge.
The couple has a child together. The woman told police she was at the hotel so Randle could see his child. He was given a court date on a misdemeanor drug charge.
This of course isn’t Joseph Randle’s first run-in with the law as earlier this past season, the running back was nabbed for shoplifting underwear and cologne from a Dallas area mall. Needless to say, he’s been having a rough few months.
As for the argument, it’s not known what sparked the incident but whatever the case, things didn’t turn out well.
