It’s no secret many on the Dallas Cowboys roster want to keep both Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray, including quarterback Tony Romo. Though owner and GM Jerry Jones admits doing so will be difficult. He hasn’t completely thrown the idea out the window, but many with ties to the Cowboys have suggested it’s likely that DeMarco Murray will be on his way out.
Replacing him? Could it be Mark Ingram of the New Orleans Saints?
That’s the thinking of Bryan Broaddus who believes the power rusher could be a free agent target of the Cowboys.
“@briankiser80: @BryanBroaddus is Ingram a real option?” I think he is. We will see.

The Saints have been less than enthusastic about re-signing Mark Ingram, namely because they lack the salary cap space and feel they have solid options on the roster. There have also been questions about his fit for the Saints, though Ingram seemingly dispelled that earlier this season as he plowed through opposing defenses.
Of course, replacing DeMarco Murray would be a tough task considering he lead the NFL in rushing this past season, though Mark Ingram would certainly soften the blow if the Dallas Cowboys weren’t able to retain their starting running back.
