Roddy White: Dez Bryant To Miss Remainder Of Cowboys Season?

Dez Bryant

Depending on who you ask, you’ll get a different answer in regards to when Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant will return from his broken toe injury.

Some suggest that Bryant will only miss 4-6 weeks while others believe it will be closer to two months.

However, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White thinks Dez Bryant will be unable to return to the football field at all this season.

White, speaking with SiriusXM, stated that Falcons teammate Julio Jones had the same injury and was unable to play again that year – the same fate he believes Dez Bryant will deal with this season.

“Me and Julio [Jones] were talking about the whole situation,” he said. “When [Jones] heard that [Bryant] broke his foot he was like, ‘He’s got the same injury I got.’ And, you know, we had to shut [Julio] down for the whole entire year. So I just don’t see him making it back this year.”

While Roddy White might have a point, he’s not a doctor either and different bodies react in different ways to injuries. Given that, it’s difficult to say just how much time Dez Bryant will miss with his injury. Either way, it’s a huge blow to the Dallas Cowboys who can only hope he comes back healthy, whenever he does return.
