Another day, another graphic artist attempting his hand at creating concept football helmets.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But today isn’t the latter because these NFL helmets inspired by Marvel Comics are pretty dang awesome.
Unlike a lot of the concept helmet designs we’ve come across in recent months, this actually stay really true to form. There’s no altering of the football team colors. The changing of the logo is minimal and only to reflect something from Marvel.
Needless to say, they’re really well done and rival the Star Wars football helmets we saw a few weeks back.
And frankly, it’s pretty neat to see some of our favorite characters implemented into the logo of our favorite football teams. Case in point? Here are the San Francisco 49ers, represented by Ironman.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ ‘pirate’ replaced by The Punisher might be my favorite though.
All that said, there’s really not a bad helmet in the bunch. Some might not be as popular to everybody as it’s pretty difficult to come up with 32 popular superhero’s that everybody knows by name/logo, but alas it was still a really impressive effort on the part of Justin Kozisek who put it all together.
