Hot Hockey Reporter Hit In Head By Puck

KWWL reporter Jessica Hartman wasn’t working when she attended a minor league hockey game recently, but that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t be on the news later that evening.

That’s because the hot reporter was hit in the head by a wayward puck that rendered her unconscious for a short amount of time.

It all took place in Iowa as Jessica tweeted out a picture of the Waterloo Blackhawks (USHL) game Saturday night, which ironically enough was Hartman’s first ever USHL game.

Seems pleasant enough, right?

Not so fast.

Moments after that picture was taken, Jessica Hartman was hit in the head by the flying hockey puck and this was the end result:

Poor thing.

Jessica did wake up as emergency personnel responded to her in the stands and was quickly stitched up at a local hospital.

Thankfully she’s doing much better now and has quite a story to tell for many years to come.

Perhaps the funniest and most ironic part of the whole story? KWWL reported the story and wasn’t aware that it was Jessica who was struck by the hockey puck:

A Waterloo woman is expected to be all right after she was hit with a hockey puck at Young Arena Saturday night.

According to witnesses, she was hit in the head during the Black Hawks game.

Witnesses say she was unconscious for a short amount of time, but she was awake and breathing when first responders loaded her onto a stretcher and into an ambulance.

Oops!
