NASCAR Official Falls Down Race Track And Its Amazing (Video)

Daytona 500 Crash

I’ve had the pleasure (well, more like painful experience) of walking on a NASCAR track before and let me tell you, it’s not easy. Sure, you can go vertical on the paved surface rather easy as that’s no different than climbing a hill with asphalt.

But have you ever tried to run sideways on a hill? Not nearly as easy, something a NASCAR official found out the hard way during Sunday’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Cleaning up track debris, the official made his way out of the clean up truck to grab a piece of car shrapnel. Everything appeared to be going to plan as he made his way back to his vehicle, but that’s where things got crazy and the NASCAR official fell down.

In his defense, the NASCAR official had been cleaning up multiple spots of debris and was going super hard in the process (which was funny enough by itself). So perhaps running up and down the track gave his knees an extended workout his body wasn’t ready for.

Either way, he ended up eating it and did so while millions watched.

Perhaps the funniest part of the whole thing is how long it takes to unfold. You can see the stumble coming well before the fall. Looks like a baby deer trying to walk for the first time.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
