If Britt McHenry is to return to work after her suspension, there are going to be some unhappy employees, including those who we regularly see on the sports network. That’s the word from TMZ who says multiple staffers at the Wordwide Leader want the beautiful Britt McHenry fired over her outburst earlier this week.
If you missed it, McHenry, who has made a name for herself – partly because of her sports reporting talent – partly for her looks – unleashed an epic tirade on a tow truck company employee after she was attempting to retrive her car.
The whole exchange was caught on video which featured Britt McHenry berating the employee during her meltdown.
Now some of her fellow ESPN employees want Britt McHenry fired.
We spoke with a whole bunch of ESPN employees … from producers to production people and even famous faces … and not one person said they’re down with the 1-week suspension.
One high level producer tells us, “She’s the worst. Hopefully she’ll be fired soon.”
Another person told us, “[What she did] reflects on all of us at ESPN. She will be fired soon. If not, I’ll be shocked.”
“She came off more than rude in that clip. It seems like she needs some humble pie,” says another ESPN staffer … “[ESPN] can find a million Britt McHenrys to replace her.”
McHenry was dubbed by many as the ‘next Erin Andrews’ and if the Worldwide Leader was able to replace her, Britt might want to be slightly concerned about her job.
Still, I doubt ESPN makes such a strong move.
