Okay, okay – technically Taylor Swift is not training to be an MMA fighter. But she did attempt her hand at the sport, at least for a few days, when she was preparing to shoot the music video ‘Bad Blood’.
If you haven’t seen ‘Bad Blood’, the video features Taylor Swift and friends like Selena Gomez essentially being superhero talents, kicking the arse of anybody within range who did them dirty.
Well, to prepare for such, Taylor Swift took an MMA class and she didn’t do half bad. Of course, the guys she was attempting to fight clearly didn’t hit back (obviously) and fell to the ground at the slightest gust of wind.
Still, Taylor Swift training to be an MMA fighter looked pretty legit:
I’m not sure if T-Swizzle was trying to combine her acting skills with her fighting skills, but if not, her Allen Iverson looking at Tyronn Lue stares were pretty hilarious either way.
Safe to say she won’t be getting in the cage with Ronda Rousey anytime soon, though, Taylor Swift has a little more skill than I would have thought, especially when it comes to the idea of her throwing down with UFC and MMA fighters.
