All at once, Peyton Manning-mania and Mardi-mania

Mardi Gras and Super Bowl 50! What a celebratory night for New Orleans, where the Bacchus parade rolled, and what an incredible night for NOLA native and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning!

Paradegoers such as the two in the cover photo for this post were showing their support for Manning and I am sure they ratcheted up the revelry after the Denver defense led No. 18 to his second Super Bowl victory in what might be his last game.

Denver Broncos 24, Carolina Panthers 10.

In the land of Who Dat Nation and the Archie Manning family, the score is reason to party harder.

Saints fans are rejoicing at what happened to quarterback Cam Newton and the Panthers and they are also happy to see another Super Bowl victory for the Manning family. That’s four between Peyton and his brother, Eli.

Mardi Gras in New Orleans had kind of a Super Bowl theme going this weekend.

It wasn’t as big as when the Saints won it all in February 2010, but like any Mardi Gras, the February 2016 party will be non-stop until Fat Tuesday meets Ash Wednesday.

Yes! Peyton is the man and Cam is the man on the ground.

If Peyton retires as King of the Broncos, maybe he could come back to New Orleans in 2017 to reign as Bacchus.

Saturday night on Bourbon Street! It’s a super experience any night in the French Quarter!

Is she a Carolina Carnival Panther? If so, I wonder how she feels today.

This isn’t Mardi Gras; it’s a celebration in Denver.

My Fat Tuesday fantasy is to see her before I give up ladies for Lent.
