Disfigured Abused Dog Finds New Forever Home For Christmas

Everybody, meet Woody, who thanks to some rather awesome folks has a new home for the holidays.

Woody, who is now eight months old, was savagely attacked by another dog when he was just five months old which left him disfigured.

His owners at the time, who I’ve deemed pretty much horrible people, decided to let Woody heal on his own and refused to take him to the vet. As if that wasn’t terrible enough, they left the pup chained outside of their house when they decided to move, leaving him to starve.

Thankfully, some good seminarians took notice and brought Woody to the Special Need Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (SNARR), where director Courtney Bellew did what any person with a heart would do.

Adopt him.

“We take in lots of animals with lots of different problems,” said Courtney, “but I have never seen anything like this. This was a first.

“He’s so cute and endearing, a real sweet goofy-looking boy. I just fell in love with him straight away.”

So thankfully, Woody has a new forever home thanks to Courtney and the folks at SNARR.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
