Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy can’t stay out of the news, though, it’s for all the wrong reasons after it was reported he assaulted two police officers.
McCoy, who spent much of the season throwing former head coach Chip Kelly under the bus is now the target of an investigation by Philadelphia police, where he and former NFL player Curtis Brinkley were said to have scuffled with the officers.
Per 6ABC:
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Recess Lounge located at 125 South 2nd Street in Old City. It was there that McCoy, and a friend, were involved in a physical altercation with the two officers, sources said. Sources also say that while McCoy and his friend were not arrested, they are the focus of the investigation.
There is likely more to the story, especially since LeSean McCoy was not arrested.
All that said, the police officer did have to go to the hospital.

Shockingly, between the Super Bowl and Marshawn Lynch announcing his retirement (and the lack of facts), this story isn’t picking up a ton of steam currently though that might change once more news comes out.
Either way, not a good look for the Buffalo Bills running back.
