Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has emerged from draft question mark to NBA All-Star and with his play this season, has become a viable threat to be named league MVP.
In addition to being one of the most talented players in the league, he also has quite the sense of humor. We’ve seen the former Davidson star featured in a handful of commercials over the past few seasons, though his most recent might be his best.
Staring in one of ESPN’s highly popular SportsCenter commercials, Stephen Curry makes his way to the Worldwide Leader’s Bristol based cafeteria where he can’t stop thanking everybody for the afternoon special “Chicken Curry”.
Believing the special was named after him and his strong play, the Warriors’ star was dumbfounded the chef’s would praise him in such a capacity which of course turned out to be extremely hilarious.
After Curry thanks the ESPN anchors and the cafeteria staff for honoring him, those behind the counter can’t seem to place their finger on who exactly the basketball player was resulting in yet another quality ad spot from ESPN.
Maybe Stephen Curry should have brought Draymond Green with him so they could have thrown grapes at the kitchen staff for not knowing who he was?
