When the Golden State Warriors lead the NBA Finals with a 3-1 series advantage, most left the Cavs and LeBron James for dead. But King James wasn’t about to go down without a fight and he (along with Kyrie Irving) helped the Cavaliers become the first team in NBA history to win a Finals while facing a 3-1 disadvantage.
So it only made sense that LeBron James trolled the Warriors by wearing an ‘Ultimate Warrior’ shirt as they returned home with the Larry O’Brien, right?
Some might say it was just a random choice of clothing, but as King James walked off the plane, hoisting the trophy for the awaiting crowd, he could be seen wearing an ‘Ultimate Warrior’ t-shirt.
Granted, it would have been better if he wore a ‘Bye Ayesha’ shirt, but you can’t tell me that wasn’t a calculated move on King James’ part.
I mean, after the Draymond Green trash talk and Steph Curry trash talk, he wasn’t going to go into the offseason without the last laugh, right?
