Los Angeles Police Chase Was Real Life Grand Theft Auto (Video)

Los Angeles Police Chase

While most of the nation enjoyed their evening dinner and prime time television shows, part of the West Coast was watching a moron live out a real life version of ‘Grand Theft Auto’ in a Los Angeles police chase which ended with bullets being fired.

It all began when the suspect allegedly stole a vehicle which lead to authorities giving pursuit. Not interested in stopping, the man floored it and police gave chase.

That was just the start of the Los Angeles police chase though as noted by KTLA:

The man was seen driving in and out of traffic, through numerous red light and on the wrong side of the street. He collided with several other vehicles during the pursuit, but kept on going.

At one point, a collision disabled the stolen vehicle. The driver then jumped out of the car and carjacked a second vehicle.

Officers chased him across several freeways before he exited the 60 Freeway in Montebello at Via Campo near Garfield Avenue. Once on surface streets he again collided with a vehicle and became trapped. He again got out of the vehicle and tried to carjack a second car, but was unsuccessful.

Unsuccessful was an understatement. As the man attempted to steal the car (again), police finally had enough and fired a shot at the man – hitting him where he immediately fell to the ground and could be seen crawling in pain.

No word on if he decided to stop at Cluckin’ Bell at any point during the chase, which I make sure to always do during my Grand Theft Auto chases.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
